Participants will create a small beaded sashiko quilt that they will turn into a simple pencil case. With the opportunity to see and touch historic textiles from our Education Collection, this workshop will encourage conversations on personal narratives and inspire participants to tell a story on their pencil cases. Participants are invited to bring personal textiles to talk about or to include in their work.
Please register here to save your spot as space is limited. No previous experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
